About two weeks ago some of Tremor's middle school and high school friends and Aurora came over for lunch and to visit. (Tremor, alas, had to work.) As expected, I enjoyed their visit, but something happened to surprise me.
I was halfway through vacuuming the upstairs when I realized that, for the first time ever, I was actually vacuuming before Tremor's friends came over instead of after. I guess that conclusively proves that I consider them adults.
