Why Thank-You Notes Matter

Yesterday we received a Christmas card which included one of the best thank-you notes we ever received for the gift I first showed you last August.  (The link didn't seem to work, so I'm repeating the photo.)

The thank-you note contained two photos of the smiling, adorable little boy with the quilt.  I am so pleased he liked the quilt because I always worry when I make a quilt for someone I don't know.  In fact, the thank-you note probably thrilled me more than the quilt thrilled the little boy.
